How do I book a session?
Very easy! Just shoot through a message via the 'Contact' page and we can arrange from there. Let me know the date you are interested in and the type of session you are after. I'll send you a copy of the packages I offer.
COVID-19 & WHS
I have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will comply with all public health orders. I also have a COVID safety plan and am registered as a COVID safe business.
I have completed infant first aid training and am quite savvy when it comes to WHS (thanks to my corporate job).
I am upto date with all my vaccinations and have been immunised against whooping cough.
Rest assured you're in safe hands!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the Wollongong area and service the Illawarra at no extra cost (from Kiama through to Helensburgh).
If you're based in Sydney, the South Coast or the Southern Highlands please send me a message and I will let you know if I can travel to you and the cost of travel if applicable.
For in-home sessions we meet at your house, for outdoor sessions we meet at an agreed location to have fun, play games and let the magic happen! I’ll provide some direction for poses but my favourite shots are the ones that are captured naturally.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a week (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). Once you have selected your favourites I will commence the editing process which normally takes 2-4 weeks. You can download the photos you have purchased from your online private gallery once finalised.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of pictures you will receive will depend on the package you select. You always have the option of upgrading packages even after we shoot.
Do you photograph older babies?
Of course! I photograph all ages, from newborn through to anything really - there's absolutely no age limit on photos. Just be mindful that the type of images I will capture will vary depending on age.
What if I need to reschedule?
If you or a household member are unwell or have COVID, please let me know as soon as possible and we can reschedule your session (this is reciprocal and I will do the same for my clients).
As newborn sessions are booked in advance of bub arriving, please let me know your due date and we will aim for a session within the first two weeks of bub arriving (this is when they are still nice and sleepy for those snuggly newborn poses). The original date we plan for may vary depending on if bub arrives early or late, and this is no problem at all. Please let me know once your special new addition arrives so we know if we need to reschedule your session.
Any other reschedules outside of the above will incur a new session fee.
Do you include family in your sessions?
Yes, yes and yes!
Mum, dad and siblings are absolutely welcomed to join in on the fun! In fact, it's a must! You don't want to miss out on a treasured family photo down the track.
If you have extended family that you'd also like to capture in the photos (such as grandparents etc) please let me know in advance and I will let you know if there's an additional cost (this will purely depend on the number of people and time that it will take to capture these images).
How long do sessions go for?
Newborn sessions generally go for 1.5-2.5 hours, however I'm not one to rush a session. If it takes a little longer to settle your precious bubba and to get the perfect images then I will stick around until we are content with what we have captured.
I shoot newborn session within the comfort of your own home, generally between 10.30am-12.30pm.
Outdoor sessions, I allow 1 hour for these sessions and they are held during 'golden hour', as the sun is setting.
Do you have a studio?
My studio is currently being built.
Once ready it will be advertised on my website and clients will be notified of the option to have their shoot in the studio if they wish.
This space is going to be incredible! Keep an eye out for updates and progress of the build and fitout on my socials.

Do you provide RAW files?
No, RAW (unedited) images are not provided to clients.
You will receive fully edited high resolution JPG images as per my packages.
What if my toddler doesn't cooperate for the shoot?
How many times have you asked your little one to 'smile' and they pull the funniest face at you? The best thing to do is let your toddler (or young child) be. I have little games to play with them during the session to make it fun for them and make them feel comfortable in a situation they are not use to.
We need to accept that toddlers will be toddlers and embrace that (luckily I have a very fast shutter on my camera and can capture things at the speed of lightening).
